Overwiew :An obsessive scientist and a female naturalist discover a man born and raised in the wild. As scientist Nathan (Tim Robbins) trains the wild man (Rhys Ifans) in the ways of the world - poetry, opera, smoking jackets - Nathan's lover Lila (Patricia Arquette), who's dealing with an extreme personal hygiene issue, fights to preserve the man's simian past, which represents a freedom that most people envy.
