The story begins with Cosby as a widower with three children - two smaller ones, and Diane (Kimberly Russell), a teenager who helps look after them. He's a busy executive who hopes to close a big deal on Thursday that will mean a raise, life insurance, a pension plan, a new car, and I forget what else. Cosby plays a widower, who dies in a Taxi accident and learns he has to patch things up with his kids, so that they can be financially secure.
