Overwiew :Famous children's book author Ted Cole (Jeff Bridges) and his beautiful wife Marion (Kim Basinger). have been strained by the tragic death of their two teenage sons in a freak car accident. This tragedy and Ted's subsequent infidelities has prevented the couple from confronting a much-needed change in their relationship.
