Overwiew :Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and circles up the boys for a third a heist, after casino owner Willy Bank (Al Pacino) double-crosses one of the original eleven, Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould). What are the odds of getting even? Danny Ocean and the gang would have only one reason to pull off their most ambitious and riskiest casino heist--to defend one of their own. But theyre going to need more than luck on their side to break The Bank.Ruthless casino owner Willy Bank never imagined that the odds were against him when he double-crossed Danny Oceans friend and mentor Reuben Tishkoff, putting the distraught Reuben in a hospital bed in critical condition. But Bank miscalculated--badly. He may have taken down one of the original Oceans eleven, but he left the others standing and, worse for him, gave them a shared purpose: to take Bank down on the night of what should be his greatest triumph--the grand opening of his new casino, appropriately named The Bank. Their strategy is twofold. First they will ruin him financially by turning the tables on the precept that the house always wins. But thats just money. The knockout punch will be to Banks personal pride and joy: his reputation as the only hotelier who has earned the Royal Review Boards Five Diamond Award on every single one of his hotels. The plan is elaborate, dangerous and damn near impossible--but there are no limits when it comes to one of their own. Sequel To Remake / Third Part / Heist / Sequel / Las Vegas

  Critic Reviews  Grade
USA Today - Claudia Puig : ...as frothy and smooth as a chilled margarita on a hot Vegas night.   more...   B
Seattle Post-Intelligencer - William Arnold : All told, this thing has to be one of the dullest caper movies ever made.   more...   C-
San Francisco Chronicle - Mick LaSalle : A rare sequel that's just right.   more...   B+
Rolling Stone - Peter Travers : The movie is all heist, which Soderbergh carries off in high style.   more...   B
ReelViews - James Berardinelli : This is a stripped-down, plot-oriented heist movie where character development and interpersonal interaction have been set aside in order to keep the parts clicking.   more...   B
New York Times - Manohla Dargis : ...it¿s lighter than air, prettier than life, a romp, a goof and an attentively oiled machine.   more...   B+
New York Post - Lou Lumenick : It's skillfully rendered fun, but don't expect to remember much the next day.   more...   B
Hollywood Reporter - Kirk Honeycutt : ...does recapture much of the spirit of the original film.   more...   B
filmcritic.com - Jesse Hassenger : ...Ocean's Thirteen is framed as a revenge story, which nevertheless plays out more like a victory lap...   more...   B
Entertainment Weekly - Owen Gleiberman : There are enough interlocking ruses to fill a dozen heist thrillers...   more...   A-
E! Online - Dezhda Mountz : Danny Ocean & Co. strike it rich in a smart, snappy third installment of Steven Soderbergh's heist flicks.   more...   A
