Bat


You need:
black stiffy felt
two different sized black
pom poms
google eyes
one tiny pom pom
glue

To make:
Glue the two black pom poms together. Glue the two google eyes and pom pom nose on the bat's head. Cut out the bat wings and ears from the black felt and glue to the back of the body.

 
 
Lima Bean Ghost


You need:
large white dry lima beans
black permanent marker

To make:
Using the marker, draw two black circles on the lima beans.

 
 
Tyrofoam Cup Ghost


You need:
styrofoam cup
black marker
tissue
scotch tape
string

To make:
Draw eyes and a mouth on the upside down styrofoam cup. Cut 1/2" strips from the tissue and tape to the underside of the cup. Poke a hole in the top of the ghost and thread a string through. Make a loop with the string for easy hanging. BOO!

 
 
Glue Ghost


You need:
glue
google eyes
plastic lid
paint brush
small pom pom
needle and thread

To make:
Using the paint brush, spread a thick layer of glue on the plastic lid in a ghost shape. Place the eyes in the glue near the top. Add pom pom nose and any other features, as desired. Leave to dry overnight. When dry, gently peel the shape from the lid and turn it over to dry, if not already. Using the needle, thread a piece of string in the top of the ghost and hang it up.

 
 
Monster Mask


You need:
green construction paper
black construction paper
glue
elastic cord

To make:
Cut out a monster head shape, including the nose space and two eye holes. Cut out and glue on some hair. Add features, scars, etc. Punch two holes on the sides of the mask, making sure the nose and eyes holes fit properly. Tie an elastic cord to each hole. You may wish to first reinforce the holes with tape.
* fun foam works well, too.

 
 
Toilet Paper Pumpkin


You need:
full roll of toilet paper
orange tissue paper
green and brown paper

To make:
Lay the tissue paper flat on a table. Place the toilet paper roll in the centre of the tissue paper. Bring the ends of the tissue paper up and tuck them into the centre of the tube. Cut two leaf shapes from the green consturction paper and glue them on the top of the pumpkin. Cut a 3"x8" strip from the brown construction paper and roll it up to form the stem. Glue in place.

 
 
Pumpkin Bowl


You need:
glass bowl
orange paint
black paint
triangular sponges
ribbon
tea candle

To make:
Using a sponge, sponge paint the orange paint all over the glass bowl. Let dry. When the paint is dry, sponge on two triangles for eyes, one for the nose, and a mouth. Tie a ribbon around the top and place a candle inside.

 
 
Pumpkin Head


You need:
orange rubber waffle place mat
black yarn
darning needle

To make:
Cut out a pumpkin shape out of the orange waffle place mat. Using a marker, draw a jack-o-lantern face; this will be your guide. Sew along the face outlines, as desired. Hang your completed jack-o-lantern on a suction cup hook on a window or mirror.

 
 
Tootsie Roll Spider


You need:
tootsie roll lollipop
google eyes
glue
four pipe cleaners

To make:
Twist the pipe cleaners around the stick of the tootsie roll. Glue on two or more google eyes.

 
 
Cup Spider


You need:
two google eyes
tacky glue
scissors
black paper cup

To make:
Cut eight 2" strips from the black cup, starting from the top edge of the cup. Bend the legs to give the spider a realistic look. Glue on two google eyes.

 
 
String Pumpkin


You need:
orange yarn
glue
balloon
margarine container
black felt

To make:
Blow up the balloon to the desired size and tie it off. Pour a large amount of glue in a container, dip the yarn into it and wrap it around the balloon. Continue pulling the string through the glue and wrapping it around the balloon until most of the balloon is covered. Place the balloon pumpkin on the margarine container and let it dry overnight. You can wipe the glue off the balloon while it is still wet. When the yarn is dry and hard, break the balloon and gently pull it through one of the spaces. Add felt features to the face to create your original jack-o-lantern.

 
 
Toilet Paper Tube Ghost


You need:
white toilet paper tube
black marker
tissue
string
scotch tape

To make:
Draw eyes and a mouth on a toilet paper tube. Cut 1/2" strips from the tissue and tape to the underside of the tube. Punch two holes at the top of the tube and thread a short piece of string through. Tie the ends off.

 
 
Ghost Windsock


You need:
two white kitchen garbage bags
scotch tape
permanent black marker
pipe cleaners
string

To make:
Lay one bag on a table, vertically. Draw a face in the middle of the bag. Turn the bag over, face down and lay the pipe cleaners across the top and bottom. The pipe cleaners need to go from edge to edge. Fold down the top edge of the bag, sandwiching the pipe cleaner, and secure with tape. Fold up the bottom edge, over the bottom pipe cleaner and secure it with tape. Cut strips from the other bag and tape them to the inside of the bag so that they hang down. Attach a string to the top to hang your wind sock.

 
 
Witch


You need:
black tissue paper
construction paper
toilet paper tube

To make:
Cut a two inch section from the toilet paper tube and colour it green. Cut a nose and mouth from orange construction paper and glue it to the tube. Cut a four inch circle from the black construction paper with a small hole in the middle. Fold the black tissue paper in half and gather at the centre. Push the point into the toilet paper tube and through the hole in the hat.
