Zoe Lister-Jones (born September 1, 1982) is an American actress, singer, playwright, and screenwriter. Her mother is the Canadian video artist Ardele Lister, and her father is the American photographer and media artist Bill Jones.
The Brooklyn, New York native graduated with honors from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Her New York City theatre credits include The Little Dog Laughed and The New Group's The Accomplices.
Lister-Jones' screen credits include the upcoming political thriller State of Play (2009), as well as quirky independent films such as Arranged (2007), The Marconi Bros. (2008), Day Zero (2008), and Palladio (2005). On television she has appeared in Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Trial by Jury.
Lister-Jones wrote and performed in the one-woman, ten-character show Co-dependence is a Four Letter Word. Her first screenplay, Dolly, is in pre-production.
Lister-Jones has performed with the rock band Maxi Geil at venues such as Joe's Pub (Manhattan), Luxx and the Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn. Her debut solo CD is entitled Skip the Kiss.
