William R. Moses (sometimes also credited as Billy R. Moses born on November 17, 1959 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor, probably best known for playing Cole Gioberti in the prime-time soap opera Falcon Crest from 1981 to 1987.
Moses was married to actress Tracy Nelson, who is the daughter of the late rock singer Rick Nelson, and sister to Gunnar and Matthew Nelson, in 1987 but they divorced in 1997. They have a daughter, Remington Elizabeth.
Moses had gone on to play in various movies including Movie of the week series of Perry Mason, playing Perry's junior partner and investigator, Ken Malansky from 1989 - 1995. This character replaced the Paul Drake Jr. character, played by William Katt. He also appeared on Melrose Place as Keith Gray from 1992-1993. After Perry Mason ended, he went on to play drama teacher, David Graysmark in FAME LA. He's been seen in various movies and can currently be seen in the Hallmark Mystery Movie Series JANE DOE which began airing in January 2005. He has recently appeared in various movies on Lifetime. His latest two are A LOVERS REVENGE starring his former Perry Mason costar, Alexandra Paul, and THE PERFECT MARRIAGE also starring two other Melrose Place alumni, Jamie Lunar and James Wilder. He is the son of the late actress Marian McCargo and step son of the late former Republican Congressman Alphonzo Bell, Jr. His natural father was ad executive, Richard C. Moses.
He is currently married again and he and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter together. He is the youngest of 4 boys born to Marian and Richard on November 17, 1959. His brothers names are Harry, Rick, and Graham and stepbrothers Tony, Matt and Bob.
He stands about 6'1" tall, has ashe blond hair and blue eyes. He once wanted to pursue a career in politics. He is left handed and his sun sign is Scorpio.
