Vail Bloom is an Emmy Award-nominated American actress who was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Connecticut and Florida.
The daughter of a high school guidance counselor and businessman/college professor, Bloom graduated from Princeton University in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. In 2003, she placed third in Maxim magazine's Hometown Hotties.. She became interested in acting when a fellow student at Princeton where she went to school asked her to star in a short film. She also performed on stage with an innovative company called "diSiac" and starred in other student projects while attending Princeton.
In her spare time, Vail enjoys mentoring young people and tutors middle and high school students. She also likes running and hiking.
Currently she can be seen as the assistant district attorney for Genoa City Heather Stevens on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless.
