He won for the best dressed man at the 2005 BET awards. He increased his growing street credibility by collaborating with Tupac, Baby, and Bonecrusher. His sophomore album "Trap Muzik" debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 Charts while "Urban Legend" debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. On Urban Legend's "Why U Mad At Me", T.I. makes a reference to the legal problems that landed him in jail, and the somewhat overzealous efforts by police officers determined to make him pay his debt to society. His first album with Atlantic Records, "Trap Muzik", had 3 hit singles off of it..24's, Rubberband Man, and Lets Get Away. He started rapping at the age of 9. He signed a record deal at the age of 19 and released one major-label album (I'm Serious, Arista, 2001) before he joined Atlantic with his own Grand Hustle imprint. He has his own record label,Grand Hustle Entertainment. He won for the best street anthem from his smash hit "Rubberband Man" at the 2004 Vibe awards. T.I. Detailed Biography -

T.I. was born on September 25, 1980 as Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. in Atlanta, Georgia, US. He is better known by his stage name T.I. and also by his alter ego T.I.P. He is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, record producer and executive producer. His first solo album 'I'm Serious' was released 9th October, 2001 through Arista Records. The solo had little airplay and failed to chart. He released several mix tapes with the assistance of DJ Drama, which created an underground buzz. He resurfaced in the summer of 2003 on Bone Crusher's song "Neva Scared". On August 19, 2003, T.I. released 'Trap Muzik' through Grand Hustle Records and debuted at number four. It sold 109,000 copies in its first week. 'Trap Muzik' is his second album. The album featured guest appearances by Eightball & MJG, Jazze Pha, Bun B and Macboney and producers include Jazze Pha, Kanye West, David Banner, Madvac and DJ Toomp. But unfortunately, while T.I. was on tour, he was charged with violating his probation over a 2003 drug charge, and turned himself in. He was sentenced to three years in prison. But fortunately, while there, he was granted rights to film the music video for "Let's Get Away". It sold over 1 million copies in the U.S. and was certified Platinum by the RIAA. T.I. released his third album 'Urban Legend' in late 2004. His first single "Bring 'Em Out" got much success. His third single "ASAP" reached #75 on the U.S. charts, #18 on the U.S. R&B/Hip-Hop charts, #14 on the Rap charts, and #35 on the U.K. singles chart. In 2006, T.I. received two Grammy Award nominations for Best Song Collaboration and Best Rap Solo Performance for "U Don't Know Me" at The 48th Grammy Awards. His fourth album 'King' debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the first half of 2006. T.I. released his fifth album T.I. vs. T.I.P. on July 3, 2007. Then he released his sixth album 'Paper Trail' on September 30, 2008. T.I. has also the ability to act in the films. In 2006, T.I. starred in his first film "ATL". The other cast members were Lauren London, Antoine Patton, Evan Ross, Mykelti Williamson, Jason Weaver, and Keith David. Christopher Robinson was the director of the film. T.I. also appeared in American Gangster with fellow rappers Common and RZA.
