Shannon Marie Woodward (December 17, 1984 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American film and TV actress. She currently plays the role of Di Di Malloy on The Riches, and her past credits include Man of the House, the television series Psych and The Quiet.
Raised in Florida, she appeared as a girl in a series of local stage plays, which earned her the notice of a casting director for Nickelodeon’s Clarissa Explains It All. She was asked to audition for a small role on the show, and was eventually asked back two more times.
She has since parlayed her industry connections into a series of gigs on several made-for-TV movies, including 1995’s Family Reunion: A Relative Nightmare with Clarissa Explains It All castmate Melissa Joan Hart, and 1997’s True Women alongside Angelina Jolie and Rachael Leigh Cook.
Since 2000, she has worked mostly in TV, taking on small roles on programs like Crossing Jordan, Malcolm in the Middle and Without a Trace.
She has, more recently, signed up for a pair of films scheduled for release in 2007, Sunny & Share Love You and The Comebacks.
She currently resides in Los Angeles where she spends her time working on her career and her academics.
