Sam Phillips was born at Fort Meade Army Base. Phillips was selected Penthouse Pet for June 1993. In 1999, she created the dream team of promotions squads, The Leykettes - a multi-million dollar grossing group of girls for 97.1 The FM Talk Station/KLSX. The group consisted of the top centerfolds and adult stars of the day. Named after 97.1/KLSX's popular drive time host, Tom Leykis. The Leykettes appear all around Southern California at various radio station events and promotions to this day. Created the "Sheena and Sam" show in 1998, but quit the show in 2001.

Sam Phillips, actually Samantha Phillips, was born on 25 February, 1966. Sam Phillips is an American actress, talk-show host, reality TV host, radio DJ, producer, high-fashion model, popular pin-up girl, actress and spokesmodel. She was born in Savage, Maryland to a Russian father and an Irish/Scottish mother. When Phillips was still young her family moved to Brooklyn, New York. Samantha Phillips has guest hosted and appeared as a celebrity guest on numerous shows, including CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn , FX Network, The Howard Stern Show , The Joan Rivers Show, Jenny Jones, The Maury Povich Show, Hard Copy, Inside Edition, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Sexcetera on Playboy TV, and HBO. She has also been cast in many music videos, including ones for "Weird Al" Yankovic, Van Halen, Amy Grant, Mötley Crüe, Simply Red, The Scorpions, The Doobie Brothers, Dave Koz, Iron Maiden and Alice Cooper, to name a few.
