Sade Baderinwa Detailed Biography -
Sade Baderinwa (b. 1971) is co-anchor with Diana Williams of WABC's 5 PM weekday editions of Eyewitness News as well as a reporter for the station. She joined the station in 2003 from her hometown of Baltimore's WBAL-TV where she worked for three years.
On July 23, 2004 while preparing a report on location in Hackensack, New Jersey about local flooding, she was struck by a hit and run driver who went through police lines. After multiple surgeries and months of recovery and physical therapy Sade returned to Eyewitness News on December 13, 2004.
Sade replaced Roz Abrams, who left the station in 2003 to take over 5 & 11PM anchor duties at WCBS-TV.
