Rumer Glenn Willis (born August 16, 1988) is an American actress. She is the daughter of actors Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. She has appeared in several of her parents' movies since early childhood.
Rumer was born in Paducah, Kentucky, United States, North America. Her father, actor Bruce Willis, was filming the movie In Country (1989) at the time. Her mother, actress Demi Moore, hired a cameraman to video tape her birth.
Willis made her film debut alongside her mother in the film Now and Then (1995), where she played Angela Albertson. The following year she played Angela Grant in the film Striptease (1996).
Willis appeared alongside her father in the film The Whole Nine Yards (2000). In 2005, she played the role of Amanda Talley in the movie Hostage, starring Bruce Willis.
Her latest released film is entitled From Within. It was filmed in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Willis also has a role in the recently released The House Bunny. In addition, she will have a cameo role in the film Whore.
Willis recently ventured into the role of spokesperson for the clothing company Ocean Pacific. Other spokespeople for the same company include Christina Millian, Wilmer Valderrama, Pete Wentz, and Corbin Bleu.
Willis has been announced to be joining the cast of the upcoming indie flick Wild Cherry, most likely in the supporting role of a friend of main cast member Kristin Cavallari; Rob Schneider is also a main cast member. She is also slated to be in the movie Slightly Single in L.A..
Willis has future aspirations to become a singer.
Willis is very good friends with Dakota Johnson, daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson as well as Riley Keough, Elvis Presley's granddaughter. While she has also been spotted spending time with Lindsay Lohan, Hayden Panettiere, Morganne Heinz, and Antonella Barba, Willis has begun to make the "Young Hollywood" rounds since dropping out of the University of Southern California, thrusting her further into the spotlight.
Her two younger sisters Scout LaRue Willis (b. 1991) and Tallulah Belle Willis (b. 1994) have also appeared in many of their parents' films in minor roles. Her best friend is Jessica Szohr who is well known for her role on Gossip Girl.
In December 2002, Willis enrolled as a freshman at the Interlochen Arts Academy, in Interlochen, Michigan. In January 2004, she enrolled as a sophomore at Wildwood Secondary School in Los Angeles, California. She briefly attended the University of Southern California, but dropped out by winter 2006-2007 to pursue her singing and acting career by taking classes.
She is currently dating Micah Alberti.
