Richard Worthy (born March 12, 1967) is an American actor and Star Trek veteran, having played several alien and one human role in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise.
A native of Detroit, Michigan to a father who worked in the automotive industry. Worthy studied Tae Kwon Do at a young age and Graduating from Southfield Senior High School in 1985 and from University of Michigan in 1990, he became a stage actor in Detroit, later moving to Chicago, Illinois to develop his theatre background. Later, he moved to Los Angeles, California to further his film and television work.
Among his many television credits, Worthy also had a supporting role in the Star Trek film, Star Trek: Insurrection, starring the cast of the TV series, Star Trek: The Next Generation. Worthy also had a role in a short-lived 2005 private-eye drama on CBS, Eyes. Worthy has also guest-starred in "The Warrior", an episode of Stargate SG-1, where he made use of his Tae Kwon Do and stunt fighting skills.
He currently appears on the re-imagined version of Battlestar Galactica as a Cylon agent known as Simon. Recently he has also had a large role on ABC Family's Fallen miniseries.
