Randy Harrison was born on November 2, 1977 in New Hampshire. When Randy was 11 years old he moved to Alpharetta. It's a northern suburb of Atlanta, a 45-minute trip outside the city. A veteran of the stage, Randy has been acting since the age of seven, after seeing a play with his parents. In Alpharetta, Randy went to middle school near his home. After middle school, Randy attended a private high school, the shy teenager was not out to but a few close friends. The school has an excellent performing arts program. After highschool Randy attended the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts(BFA) in March of 2000.
Audiences at CCM may remember him from his starring roles in "Hello Again," "Shopping and ***ing" and "Children of Eden." Randy has also appeared professionally in various theaters throughout the U.S.A. Some of his favorite performances have been in productions of "Violet" at the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, "1776" at the St. Louis Municipal Theatre and "West Side Story" at the Forestburg Playhouse, as well as productions of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "The Real Inspector Hound" and "A Cheever Evening." But showtime's series Queer as Folk, was his television debut. His contract with Queer as Folk ends after season four. Randy had this to say about his post-qaf carrer.
