Prince Charles was born November 14, 1948. His first military services appointment was in 1969. He currently holds the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy and Group Captain in the Royal Air Force. His favourite food is scrambled eggs. He likes to drink whisky. He enjoys going to Scotland, UK. For vacation he goes to Klosters, Switzerland and the Eleuthra in the Caribbean. He enjoys hunting, shooting, fishing, polo, skiing, painting, writing and reading. On February 24, 1981 the engagement of Prince Charles of Wales, UK and Lady Diana Spencer was announced at Buckingham Palace. On July 29, 1981 Charles married Diana. The Fairy-Tale" wedding took place at St.Paul's Cathedral.
Eleven months later on June 21, 1982 Prince William was born, their eldest son who will some day be King of England, UK. Two years later another birth took place. The second son of Charles and Diana was born September 15, 1984. Diana said that the months before Harry was born her and Charles were closer then they ever had been before. But after the birth of Harry "the marriage went badly wrong". On August 28, 1996 the "fairy-tale" wedding came to an end. The marriage of the Wales's was over. Charles and Diana divorced. A year later more bad news came -the ex-daughter-in-law to the Queen had died in a car crash. Diana died on August 31, 1997. Prince Charles is now officially engaged to his long time love -Camilla Parker-Bowles. They are getting married in 2005, followed by a Royal ceremony.
