Phillip Reeves (born July 14, 1946) is an American film and television actor and screenwriter. His major roles so far is that of Charles Swedelson on the sitcom Girlfriends, as General Krieger in Commander in Chief and as the doctor in My Wife and Kids.
So far he has written the script for one movie - Happy, Texas, from 1999 - and a second film - called The Other Side - is under production.
Among his minor television appearances are episodes of LA Law, Nowhere Man, 3rd Rock from the Sun, JAG, NYPD Blue, Desperate Housewives, Medium and others. Reeves is often seen in the works of Alexander Payne, and has also appeared in minor roles in several feature films, including About Schmidt, Election, 13 Going on 30, Sideways and Fun with Dick and Jane.
