Penelope Windust is an American actress who starred on television, and in a few movies. She studied drama at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Tech just before its merger into Carnegie Mellon University in 1967. She is best known for her role in the 1983 mini series V as "Kathleen Maxwell".
Windust was born in New York City, the daughter of Irene, an actress, and Bretaigne Windust, a stage and film director. Penelope has starred in many tv movies. Her best known film roles were in the 1988 movie Ghost Town and Bird that year. Her most recent movie was in the 1994 movie Iron Will. She has made many guest appearances in on television, including The Six Million Dollar Man, Falcon Crest, Dallas, Matlock, ER, Third Watch, and Boston Legal.
