Noble Craig is an American actor with several well-known roles in Hollywood blockbuster films.
Noble Craig was born to goodly parents Martha and Herbert Craig. Shortly after Herbert and Martha migrated to the New England colonies, to them was born a son: Noble. Named for the adjective of the same spelling and pronunciation, he quickly understood his destiny for greatness and took to the stage at the tender age of 4. Although Martha was pleased with her son's decision, Herbert believed that his first role as "tree number 6" was "demeaning and pathetic" and quickly withdrew tender Noble from the public schooling system. Herbert assumed the role of teacher and mentor, and prepared young Noble for his future career in film.
Noble's first major role in Sssssss (1973) was acclaimed as "groundbreaking" and "phenomenal." He was quickly pursued by director Brian Gibson, but Noble turned down the offer to play Vomit Creature in Poltergeist, but Gibson promised Craig that "there would be a role ready for when was ready." After a much needed hiatus, Craig's manager convinced him to contact Gibson about the role. Lucky for Craig, Gibson removed "Vomit Creature" from the original Poltergeist saying that " was meant for Noble Craig, and no one else. If Craig won't do it, there will be no Vomit Creature." Gibson was thrilled at the opportunity to work with Craig, and quickly started the script for Poltergeist II: The Other Side.
