Noah Gray-Cabey (born November 16, 1995) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Franklin Aloyisious Mumford on the ABC sitcom My Wife and Kids, and as Micah Sanders in the NBC science-fiction drama Heroes.
Gray-Cabey was born in Newry, Maine to Whitney Gray and Shawn Cabey. He started playing the piano when he was eighteen months old. At age four, he performed in several venues throughout New England and Washington, and journeyed to Jamaica for his first tour with the New England Symphonic Ensemble. By age eight, he had established a name for himself as a young musician. He appeared on Ripley's Believe It or Not for his talent. He made his television debut in December 2001 and has continued a steady presence, performing on 48 Hours, Grey's Anatomy, The Tonight Show, Good Morning America and the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Gray-Cabey wants to be an astronaut, an archaeologist, a paleontologist, a pilot, a veterinarian and a game warden when he is older[citation needed]. During an interview TV Guide Channel show InFanity, he also stated that he wants to be President of the United States. He is also in the eighth grade, when his age requires for him to be in the fifth grade. Beginning when he was four, Noah performed classical piano in several venues throughout New England and Washington and journeyed to Jamaica for his first tour with the New England Symphonic Ensemble. In July 2001, Noah continued on to Australia, and at age five, became the youngest soloist ever to perform with an orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, as well as the Queensland Conservatory and the International String Convention in Brisbane.
He made his feature film debut as Joey Dury in Lady in the Water. He has guest starred on an episode of Grey's Anatomy, and CSI: Miami, and currently he is on the hit television series Heroes, as Micah Sanders, the son of Niki Sanders and D.L. Hawkins.
