 Nathan Corddry Detailed Biography -

Nate Corddry (born September 8, 1977), sometimes credited as Nathan Corddry, is an American comedian known for his work on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and as a comedy show cast member on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He is the younger brother of former Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry.

Corddry was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts. After graduating from Weymouth High School in 1995, Nate Corddry went to Colby-Sawyer College where he majored in Communications. Corddry currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he has been living for the past two years.

In 2002, Corddry's brother, Rob Corddry was hired as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. On October 4, 2005, Nate made his first appearance on The Daily Show as a correspondent. Rob Corddry left the program on August 24, 2006. Both brothers appeared in the segment "Brother vs. Brother" together on February 21, 2006. In this segment they formally debated each other on the issue of Big Brother, but their debate quickly turned into a fight until it was stopped by host Jon Stewart.

Nate Corddry's most notable achievement is arguably his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, but he has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and The Guiding Light. In 2005, Corddry appeared in a television advertisement for Radio Shack. He has also done commercial work for Coors Brewing Company, Verizon Communications, Xbox, Dunkin' Donuts, and NYCremembers.org. Nate has trained at the Williamstown Theater Festival, and recently spent almost a year traveling on the road as an actor in the Broadway touring production of The Graduate.

In 2006, Corddry was cast in the Aaron Sorkin comedy-drama series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which began airing in September 2006 and was canceled in May 2007. The show was a weekly drama that provided viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at a fictitious Saturday Night Live-esque television program called Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Nate played a character named Tom Jeter who was a writer and performer for the show-within-a-show.

Corddry is an avid fan of baseball, and in particular the Boston Red Sox, his hometown team.
