Morgan Freeman was born 1 June 1937, in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Long before movie fans even knew face the of Morgan Freeman, young kids were watching him as Easy Reader on the popular TV series The Electric Company. After a lot of stage and TV experience, Freeman stunned movie audiences (and earned a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination) as the vicious pimp in Street Smart (1987). He has since gone on to act wonderfully in many great movies such as Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Unforgiven (1992), Se7en (1995), Along Came a Spider (2001) and The Sum of All Fears (2002).
