Melissa (Missy) Peregrym (born June 16, 1982) is a Canadian born actress. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Missy has lived most of her life in Surrey, British Columbia. She began her career in front of the camera at age 18 when she started modelling.
Her acting credits include Dark Angel, The Chris Isaak Show, Black Sash, Smallville and Andromeda. Missy had a starring role in the tv-show called Life As We Know It, which was filmed in Vancouver. She also has the lead role in the Disney movie, Stick It, which is due to be released in theatres April 2006.
Missy is a keen and dedicated soccer player, however due to her busy work schedule it has forced her to take time away from the sport, but she picks up games whenever she can. She also enjoys snowboarding and outdoor sports on the local Vancouver mountains. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
