Milton Selzer (October 25, 1918 - October 21, 2006) was an American film and television actor.
He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. After serving in World War II, Selzer moved to New York to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Art and The New School. His acting career began with small parts on Broadway, and then later in film and television. After moving to Hollywood, he began a prolific career making many guest appearances.
His most recognizable roles may be his two appearances in the classic version of The Twilight Zone, where he portrayed an alien in "Hocus-Pocus and Frisby", and as the introverted and miserly son-in-law in "The Masks". Also known for his role in the TV series "Get Smart" as Professor Parker of CONTROL with his inventions. In the many crime shows of the 1960s and 70s, Selzer would often portray unsympathetic characters who would also possess sad and often pathetic qualities.
Selzer retired from acting in the 1990s as he approached 80, and died of pulmonary and stroke complications on October 21, 2006.
