Her character on "Dawson's Creek," Andie McPhee, left for Italy in Season Four (Episode 407) in November 2000. But her name remained in the opening credits for the remainder of the season even though she no longer appeared. But her character of Andie returned in May 2001 for the graduation episode (Episode 422) which was her last appearance in the series until the series final two years later.
Meredith's deleted scenes from the series finale of 'Dawson's Creek' (Episode 623 - "All Good Things ..." and Episode 624 - "...Must Come To An End") are included on the 2003 DVD release which features the Director's extended cut.

Meredith Hoyt Monroe (born December 30, 1976) is an American actress best known as Andie McPhee on Dawson's Creek, from 1998 to 2000.
She was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois. In two television movies in 2000 and 2002 she played Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Little House on the Prairie books.
Earlier work included TV ads for everything from Walt Disney World Resort to L'Oréal.
