Matthew Fox Detailed Biography
Fox received rave reviews for his portrayal of a disturbed young man in the CBS motion picture-for-television Behind the Mask, opposite Donald Southerland.
He has guest starred on several primetime series and continues to further his craft by participating in such distinguished programs as Robert Redford's Sundance Film Lab.
In addition to earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Columbia University in New York, Fox spent four years as a wide receiver on the University's football team.
Raised on his family's ranch in Crowheart, WY, Fox developed an early interest in sports and the outdoors. He began horseback riding at the age of six and currently enjoys fly fishing, basketball and camping.
