Marko Babić (born January 28, 1981) is a Croatian football player who, as of 2005, is playing for Bayer Leverkusen.
Babić was part of the Croatian roster at Euro 2004, but did not play in any games.
Born in Croatia in 1981, Babic made his debut with NK Osijek where he spent 3 seasons. In 2000, the young midfielder completed his move to Bayer Leverkusen where he joined the German outfit`s Croatian contingent.
Solidly-built, pacy and a consummate dribbler, he is hard to stop when he builds up a head of steam. He could not, however, help his side lift the European Cup, as Leverkusen failed to defeat Real Madrid in the Champions League final. Made his national team debut in May 2002 against Hungary. [July 2004]
