He was very involved in his high school's theater, Pegasus Productions. He played Billy in his school's production of Cole Porter's "Anything Goes" and the Jesus character in the school's production of "Godspell". He also portrayed Ebenezer Scrooge in a student-run production of "A Christmas Carol".
Has a younger sister named "Penelope Ann" after a character in the musical "Bye, Bye, Birdie", but everyone calls her "Poo".
Graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey in 2003.

Lou Taylor Pucci (born July 27, 1985) is an award winning actor from Keansburg, New Jersey who first appeared on film in Rebecca Miller's critically acclaimed Personal Velocity in 2000.
He first acted at the age of ten in a hometown production of Oliver. Just two years later he was on Broadway playing Freidrich in The Sound of Music. He can most recently be seen in Arie Posin's The Chumscrubber, the HBO miniseries, Empire Falls, and starring as the lead in Mike Mills' debut film, Thumbsucker, for which he received the Special Jury Prize for Acting at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and the Silver Bear Award for Best Actor at the 2005 Berlin Film Festival. He also recently appeared as the title character in Green Day's "Jesus of Suburbia" music video.
His upcoming projects include Fifty Pills, Rick Linklater's Fast Food Nation and Richard Kelly's Southland Tales.
Pucci is 20 years old and lives in New Jersey with his family.
