Liz Fraser (born Elizabeth Winch, August 14, 1933 in London) is an English actress, mainly in comedy roles.
She attended Grammar School and the London School of Dramatic Art, before appearing in repertory theatre in Accrington.
Fraser is known for her many appearances in British films and television series, including Hancock's Half Hour and Last of the Summer Wine and The Avengers episode "The Man from Auntie". Despite her prolific television work she has never appeared as a regular in any programme (making her most frequent appearances in the Hancock series).
Her film appearances include I'm All Right, Jack (1959), Two-Way Stretch (1960), the sex comedies -Adventures of a Taxi Driver (1975), Confessions of a Driving Instructor (1976), Adventures of a Private Eye (1977), Rosie Dixon - Night Nurse (1978) - and four of the Carry On films: Carry On Regardless (1961), Carry On Cruising (1962), Carry On Cabby (1963) and Carry On Behind (1975).
Non-comedic television work has included Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Crown Court, The Bill , Foyle's War and Holby City.
