After she completed her education a year later she moved to Nashville. Lacy helped Katrina Elam secure a contract with Universal South and Tony Brown and Jimmie Lee Sloas produced her self titled album released on October 5, 2004. The first single for this album is the love song "No End in Sight". In January of 2005, Katrina was named the New Now artist by Yahoo! Launchcast. Katrina went on tour with Keith Urban in the latter part of 2004 and is joining him for his "Alive in '05" Tour. News sources in early March announced Elam's marriage to an unnamed RCA intern which will take place this August.
