Coleman has acted in recent television programs including Julie in Sons & Daughters, Mrs. Deborah Hauser in Veronica Mars, Mrs. Clark in According to Jim, Penny Hadcoate in Judging Amy, Woman in The Tick, Interviewer in Charmed, Mona in ER, Marcy Katz in JAG and Rebecca Wainwright in Martial Law.
However, her career goes back as far as 1993 thus putting her name in credits of such shows as The Jamie Foxx Show, Home Improvement, Pointman, Roseanne, Married... with Children, and of course, Seinfeld.
In Seinfeld, Coleman played George Costanza's ex-girlfriend, Allison, who becomes a lesbian with George's other ex-girlfriend, Susan. She also nags George for $50, because he owes her the money.
Besides her work in television, Coleman has appeared in films such as Sour Grapes, Life Sold Separately and the IMAX 3D feature T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous.
Recently, she has worked with James Randi, a well known skeptic and paranormal debunker, as a "psychic" who performs cold readings.
On January 28, 2002, she married fellow actor Kyle Secor (who also happened to appear on Veronica Mars as Jake Kane), and together, they have two children.
