Jonathan E. Silverman (born 5 August 1966, in Los Angeles, California) is a Jewish American actor, perhaps best known for his roles in the TV series Gimme A Break!, as well as in the films Brighton Beach Memoirs, Caddyshack II, and Weekend at Bernie's. Silverman also played the title role in the short-lived mid-1990s television sitcom The Single Guy, which aired on NBC. Also made an appearance in CSI: Miami (3rd Season, "Under the Influence").
