John Doman (born 9 January 1945) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Deputy Police Commissioner William Rawls on HBO series, The Wire from 2002 to 2008. He also had a cameo in the 2003 film Mystic River. He guest starred in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Shakaar". He also portrayed Dr. Carl Deraad on Seasons 5 and 6 of ER.
