Jeon Do-yeon (전도연) (born February 11, 1973) is a South Korean film and tv soap opera actress who won many awards including best actress at Cannes Film Festival in 2007.

Jeon Do-yeon spent five years in television dramas before achieving star status with her film debut opposite Han Seok-gyu in The Contact. She has taken a variety of roles, including a schoolgirl in Harmonium in My Memory and an adulterous wife in Happy End.
After starring as the tough-talking "Sunglasses" in Ryu Seung-wan's No Blood No Tears, Jeon spent time acting in TV drama Shoot for the Stars. She also acted in E. J-yong's Untold Scandal, based on the French novel Dangerous Liasons. Her next project is a double role in a time-bending melodrama set on Jeju Island with the working title, My Mother, Mermaid.
Jeon won European cinema's top female acting prize, the Prix d'interprétation féminine du Festival de Cannes (Best Actress) for Secret Sunshine at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
Her win for Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival was the result of a unanimous decision by the jury led by Academy Award nominated director Stephen Frears. The last instance of a unanimous decision was for Isabelle Hupert in The Piano Teacher in 2001.
