Jed Rees studied music for two years in college before transferring into Business Administration under the misconception that it would teach him how to make money. In his final year in school, he discovered acting and moved to New York City where he studied theatre for two years.
Rees is recognized to film audiences from his role as ‘Teb,' one of the Thermians, in the hit movie Galaxy Quest. He has had lead or co-starring roles in the feature films Dudley Do-Right, Lake Placid, Prisoner of Zenda, Inc., and Fear, and will soon be seen in the upcoming Men With Brooms.
For Television, he has appeared in the series' The X-Files, The Outer Limits, and the CBC award-winning made-for-Television movie, Little Criminals.
He returned to New York to star in the off-Broadway production of Two Pianos, Four Hands. Other theatre credits include productions at The Arts Club Theatre (Voices of Christmas,) and Gastown Actors Theatre (Slam.)
