Actress/Comedienne Janeane Garofalo has been consistently working in film and television. Recent projects include Disney's BIG TROUBLE (also starring Rene Russo and Tim Allen) and WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER, which was showcased at The Sundance Film Festival in February 2003 and will be released in August. She can also be seen in her memorable and critically acclaimed roles in THE TRUTH ABOUT CATS AND DOGS, STEAL THIS MOVIE, MYSTERY MEN, DOG PARK, PERMANENT MIDNIGHT CLAY PIGEONS, THE MINUS MAN and DOGMA.   • Was offered the role of Gale Weathers in the movie Scream (1996), but turned it down to do the movie Sweethearts (1996). Courteney Cox then got the role and Scream (1996) which went on to gross more than $100 million, whereas Sweethearts (1996) went straight to video.

Garofalo has said that she works well with Stiller because they are complete opposite personalities, hers being caustic and political while Stiller is more go with the flow and silly, and they are able to fill in the gaps the other person misses.
