Mary Jane Frehse (July 18, 1918 – September 6, 1985), known as Jane Frazee, was an American actress, singer, and dancer.
Frazee was born as the younger sister of Ruth Frazee. At the age of 6, she and her sister formed a couple for a vaudeville act and they became known as The Frazee Sisters.
They decided to stop in 1940, when she got a lead role in the B film Melody and Moonlight (1940). She got contracted by Universal Pictures and was cast several times upon Roy Roberts in several Westerns. She also starred in several forgotten musical films in the 1940s. Frazee also had a short career on television and co-starred in the sitcom Beulah from 1952 to 1953.
In 1942, Frazee married silent film actor and director Glenn Tryon. Although the marriage lasted only five years, she gave birth to his son Timothy. She retired from acting in the 1950s and started a real estate business. She died in 1985, after complications of a stroke.
