Jamie King is a choreographer known primarily for his work with Madonna. Since 1996, he has served as the choreographer for numerous of her performances, including her appearances at both the 2005 and 2006 Grammy Awards, as well as her Re-Invention, Confessions, and Drowned World tours. He also directed the music video for her hit song, Sorry. For his work on Madonna's Drowned World Tour, King was nominated for the 2002 Emmy Award for outstanding choreography (along with Alexandre Magno and Debra Brown).
The beginning of King's career came with his 1993-1996 collaboration with Prince. In 1995, he was nominated for the Emmy Award for outstanding individual achievement in choreography for his work on Prince's appearance at the 22nd American Music Awards. In addition to his work with Prince and Madonna, King has also served as creative director for performances by Mariah Carey and Shakira, and was the director of Christina Aguilera's 2006 Back to Basics Tour. He also appeared as one of the celebrity judges on Dance Fever.
