For other uses, see Jake McKinnon (disambiguation). Jake Thomas McKinnon was a fictional character on NBC's now-cancelled daytime drama Another World, and on the CBS daytime drama As The World Turns. He was portrayed by Tom Eplin. Tom Eplin's History as Jake McKinnon February 4, 1985 to September 29, 1986; May 13, 1988 to March 16, 1995; June 30, 1995 to June 25, 1999 on Another World June 30th, 1999 to July 8th, 2002 on As The World Turns Character's background Jake grew up in Lassiter, Pennsylvania, with his parents, Ray and Alice McKinnon. Ray died when Jake was a teen, and his mother took off not long afterwards. He is shot and killed on April 20th, 2002.
