Jake Kasdan (born Jacob Kasdan 1975) is an American television and film director. He is the son of famed writer/director Lawrence Kasdan and Meg Kasdan.
Kasdan has directed three theatrical films: 1998's Zero Effect, 2002's Orange County and The TV Set, the last of which has so far been seen mainly at film festivals awaiting a theatrical release.
He has also worked in television, most notably with Judd Apatow on his series' Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared as director and, on Freaks and Geeks, consulting producer.
As a child, he made several appearances in his father's movies such as The Big Chill and Silverado (in the former he is an autograph seeker at a funeral and in the latter a stable boy).
