Jacek Bak Detailed Biography
|
Jacek Bąk (born March 24, 1973 in Lublin) is a Polish footballer. He made his footballing debut aged just 16, before moving to Lech Poznań merely two years later.
In Bąk's first season at Poznań, they won the Polish title, before he caught the eye of the Polish coach, who gave him his first international experience against Cyprus. Bąk transferred to Olympique Lyon in 1995 but failed to emulate in France what he achieved in Poland, due to having too many injuries along the way.
He began to play for RC Lens before moving to the Qatari leagues. Bąk earned caps in South Korea and Japan and is hoping to make his international mark again in 2006. For Poland, Bąk has appeared 68 times and scoring two goals.
