Isabella Calthorpe Biography

Isabella is the second daughter (of four daughters and one son) of property magnate John Austen Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (born 14 July 1947, himself of a family holding a baronetcy and son of Sir Richard Hamilton Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 2nd Baronet (1908–1985)), and his younger daughter by his first wife and third cousin, married at Kensington Register Office 27 May 1977 and later divorced in 1986, Lady Mary-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon, born 21 February 1947 herself the third daughter of the 6th Earl Howe). Lady Mary-Gaye, a well-known debutante in her time, is reputedly a banking heiress, and has been married four times, with issue from the first three marriages.
