Francisco James Muniz IV was born on December 5, 1985, in Ridgewood, NJ. Frankie has been home-schooled since Grade Six. Raised in Knightdale, NC, Muniz found his interest in acting ignited by watching his older sister in a play. Frankie made his feature film debut in the independent It Had To Be You and played a leading role, opposite Matthew Modine, in the CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame telefilm What the Deaf Man Heard. Previous television work includes principal and featured roles in the CBS movie To Dance With Olivia, the pilot Claire’s Kitchen, the Fox pilot The Invisible Man and the series The Androgena Show for WRAL-TV. Muniz has also made guest appearances on the television shows Spin City, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Silk Stalkings and Another World. He will star as Malcolm in the new mid-season Fox series Malcolm in the Middle.
