Elizabeth Hannah Dennehy (born October 1, 1960) is an American actress. She is the daughter of Brian Dennehy and sister of Kathleen Dennehy. She is married to actor James Lancaster. She is a graduate of Hofstra University. Her work involves mainly television and some film. Her most notable role is arguably that of Lieutenant Commander Shelby in the Star Trek: The Next Generation two part episode "The Best of Both Worlds." Dennehy has also appeared in such television series as The Guiding Light, Seinfeld, Charmed and Without a Trace and films such as Clear and Present Danger, Gattaca, Soldier, and Red Dragon.
