Eduardo Alves da Silva (born February 25, 1983 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian-born football player who is currently playing on the forward position for Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatian national team. His nickname is Dudu.
He moved to Zagreb, Croatia in 1998 and joined the large Croatian soccer club Dinamo Zagreb where he plays to much critical acclaim. He is considered by many a pundit to be a quick left footed forward with great technical abilities and is also seen by many as one of the best players in the Croatian First League.
In 2002 he took Croatian nationality and started playing for the Croatian U-21 squad. Now he is playing for the Croatian A-team and has good chances of joining Croatia at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. He scored his first goal for the Croatian A-team in their 4-0 victory over Hong Kong at the Carlsberg Cup in Hong Kong on February 1, 2006.
