Edmilson Gomes, real name José Gomes Edmilson, (born July 10, 1976 in Taguaritinga (Brazil)) is a Brazilian-Italian football player. He played centre-back with São Paulo F.C., Olympique Lyonnais and FC Barcelona. He received 36 caps with the Brazilian national team, the first one on July 18, 2000, and won the Football World Cup 2002.
