David Trezeguet Detailed Biography

|
David Trézéguet (born 15 October 1977 in Rouen, France) is a French-Argentine football striker. He is the son of Argentine football player Jorge Trézéguet (His father's surname is of French descent), who played in France when David was born. David grew up and played his first professional match in Argentina.
Trézéguet won the 1998 World Cup for France and then scored the golden goal against Italy to give the French the 2000 European Championship. He also played for France in the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. Trézéguet was named one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004.
At club level, Trézéguet has played for Platense in Argentina (1994), Monaco (1995-2000), and Juventus (2001-), with whom he won the Serie A title three times.
As of 12th November 2005, Trézéguet has made 60 appearances for the French national side, scoring 31 goals in the process.
