David Martin Ruprecht (born October 14, 1948) is an American actor/writer known for his work as host of the Lifetime/PAX game show, Supermarket Sweep. He currently hosts the live stage show version of The Price is Right at Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has also hosted Family Feud Live. His television guest appearances include Three's Company, Quincy, M.E., Benson, Fifth Pew from the Front, Fame, Airwolf, Full House, Simon & Simon, Riptide, Married...with Children, St. Elsewhere, Too Close For Comfort, Punky Brewster, Matlock, Moonlighting, Days of Our Lives, Small Wonder, The Drew Carey Show, Family Law, The Bold and the Beautiful, Cold Case, Joan of Arcadia, Doogie Howser, M.D., Sisters, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Family Matters.
Ruprecht was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, the son of a Lutheran minister. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Downsize DC Foundation and is a member of the Libertarian Party. Ruprecht is a former Executive Director of the Libertarian Party of California.
