David E. Paetkau (born November 10, 1978) is a Canadian actor who is perhaps best known for his roles of Evan Lewis in Final Destination 2 (2003) (in which his character meets a grisly fate with a ladder) and the deceased Beck McKaye in Whistler (2006–present). He has also appeared in I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007). He currently stars as Sam Braddock in Flashpoint (TV series).
