Danny Wells (born April 7, 1941 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian movie and television character actor. He is perhaps best known for his occasional role as Charlie the bartender on The Jeffersons as well as playing the role of video game character Luigi, brother of Mario's in the live-action segments of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. He also provided the character's voice in the animation segments on the series.
His television guest appearances include Hunter, Punky Brewster, Murder, She Wrote, Riptide, Small Wonder, The Fall Guy, The A-Team, Silver Spoons, The Greatest American Hero, Happy Days, Lou Grant, CHiPs, Eight is Enough, Fantasy Island, The Bionic Woman, What's Happening!!, Ellery Queen, Sanford and Son, The Streets of San Francisco, Kojak, Lotsa Luck, Starsky & Hutch, Harry O and Love, American Style.
During the 1970s, Wells appeared in ads for K-Mart.
